FOSTER CARE
I have been a foster momma since 2017. I have cared for and loved children who have experienced trauma on multiple levels as well as their parents. There are many ups and downs and hardships that come with brokenness and trauma.
ADOPTION
I was adopted. I was chosen. I have been rescued and redeemed and given a new name. I had an incredible adoptive family who loved me as their very own and I am so very grateful for them. That being said, it does not mean that I haven’t wrestled throughout my journey with the story of adoption. As an adopted individual I know how important it is to have someone to talk with about their story, or lack of.
